All terms agreed: Man United completes 3rd summer signing in style as player arrives in Manchester ahead of medical and unveiling scheduled to hold on Monday

Wan-Bissaka pushed his way back into the starting XI at Old Trafford in Erik ten Hag’s second season, and did relatively well. His performance against Manchester City in the FA Cup final, in particular, earned rave reviews from fans and pundits alike.

However, question marks remain over his suitability to the Dutch coach’s style of play. Furthermore, the Englishman has entered the final year of his contract, meaning United only have this window to raise a significant fee from his sale.

Accordingly, the club’s hierarchy have been looking to replace their right-back with Noussair Mazraoui this summer.

“All that is missing now is an agreement with the player, but West Ham’s salary offer should convince him to leave United and conclude this deal.”

The former Crystal Palace man swapped South London for Manchester to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s project in 2019 in a deal reported to be worth around £50 million.

Wan-Bissaka’s exit will also reportedly open the Old Trafford doors for Mazraoui.

It is reported that United have verbally agreed a fee in the region of €25m (£21m) with Bayern Munich for the Moroccan full-back.

West Ham had also earlier reached an agreement with Bayern for Mazraoui, but the player was not very keen to join Julen Lopetegui’s side.

However, he has shown a desire to reunite with his former Ajax boss, and a ‘total agreement’ has been reached between the parties.
