Rashford looked amazing on the left wing, challenged Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, and missed several additional opportunities.
After struggling to retain composure throughout the previous season, Rashford was given the job of sustaining his focus both on and off the field by Ten Hag, to which the 26-year-old reacted admirably.
Fans were singing his praises online, providing hope for the new season following what has been a disastrous pre-season tour for United.

The 2023/24 season was a tough one for Rashford, as he failed to live up to the high standards he set the previous year and was struggling both on the field and behind the scenes. His drop in form led to Gareth Southgate leaving him out of his squad for Euro 2024.
