Late last month, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that United had won the race for Obi-Martin, who parted ways with Arsenal.
There were several clubs keen on signing him but he snubbed all of them as he was more convinced by United’s project.
A report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that United presented Obi-Martin with a clear pathway to first-team football.
It was stated that he will be considered the third striker at United, just behind Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
Sky Sports have given a small update on Obi-Martin’s imminent switch to the Red Devils.
According to the newspaper, “Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign 16-year-old striker Chido Obi-Martin.
He’s expected to have a medical in the coming days.”
