Man United confirms two transfer agreements as both players say goodbye to their present teams.

Man United pushing to complete Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui deals

Man United are looking to end the transfer window with a flurry of incoming deals in an attempt to improve upon last season’s disappointment.

Ten Hag’s side finished the season in eighth place, qualifying for Europe only through their FA Cup win, and are desperate to improve this season.

This has meant they are prepared to go big in the transfer market after Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee were signed for a combined £88million.

The boss also remains keen to revisit players who featured in his Ajax side, with De Ligt and Mazraoui likely to follow Antony, Andre Onana and Lisandro Martinez to Old Trafford.

Bayern, meanwhile, failed to win a trophy last year, and are reluctant to weaken their squad, leading to further delays around the players’ exits.

Another new centre-back and a right-back have emerged as a priority despite Yoro’s arrival, as United are keen to renovate a defence which conceded 58 league goals last season.

In other news, Man United want to sell Jadon Sancho permanently this summer.
