Matthijs de Ligt’s wife has posted an exciting two-word message on social media as the Netherlands international prepares for a fresh start at Manchester United.
The 25-year-old saw his move to Old Trafford rubber-stamped on Tuesday night. De Ligt, who is well-known to the United manager Erik ten Hag from their Ajax days, touched down in the UK as part of a double transfer with former Ajax and now-ex Bayern Munich teammate Noussair Mazraoui
United paid £51.5million for De Ligt and Mazraouito take their overall spend this summer nearer to the £150million-mark. Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee agreed their respective moves last month, and United are still in the market for further additions if they can sanction much-needed sales.
