Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves have both dropped their telling predictions for Manchester United’s 2024-25 Premier League season under Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.

Erik ten Hag signed a new contract extension with Manchester United ahead of his third season in charge of the Premier League club

The 54-year-old Dutchman led United to a third-place finish in the 2022-23 Premier League season after his arrival from Dutch side Ajax in 2022.

However, Ten Hag oversaw United’s worst league finish in the Premier League era in the 2023-24 campaign, with the Red Devils ending the season in eighth place.

United were able to secure Europa League football for the 2024-25 campaign after Ten Hag’s men defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley in May.
