United fans will perhaps know Konami best for their famous Pro Evolution Soccer series, which during its time, was widely considered to be the best console-based football game.
In their statement issued earlier on Tuesday, United relayed that Konami have supported the club in its endeavours over the initial five-year partnership period and both parties are excited about what the future holds.
Naoki Morita, Konami Digital Entertainment B.V.’s European President, remarked: “It is very exciting to be announcing an extension to such a successful partnership. Manchester United are truly one of the giants of world football, we are proud to have them as part of the eFootball series now and for the next few years thanks to this renewal.”
