Striker icon Alan Shearer has bemoaned Marcus Rashford‘s lack of tactical acumen after Manchester United fell to defeat at Brighton.
The Red Devils lost 2-1 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, where numerous offside calls came back to bite Erik ten Hag’s side. Joshua Zirkzee had a potential winner ruled out for offside, but it was Rashford’s straying that left Premier League legend Shearer much more frustrated.
United saw several big chances go amiss due to Rashford and others failing to time their runs correctly, and it saw them come away from the south coast empty-handed. But Shearer is hoping a certain legendary figure at Old Trafford can help improve things.
