“It’s too early to leave only me here…How will I cope without you my bro”: Kobbie Mainoo responds to his perfect Man United’s partner who’s joining another club

The Athletic has reported that this will see Manchester United receive a fee which is contingent on appearances, while the Red Devils will retain a high sell-on clause worth 50 per cent.

United will also retain a buyback option and matching rights for Oyedele in the event he ends up becoming a world-beater.

Now, the young academy player has confirmed the move on his Instagram.

Mainoo responds to Oyedele’s farewell message

Despite Oyedele catching the eye of many during pre-season, Oyedele has now left the club permanently.

After his exit was confirmed by his new club, the 19-year-old has taken to Instagram with a message.

“My time at Manchester United has finally come to end. I want to say thank you to the only club I’ve ever known.

“Honoured to say I’ve been at the club for 12 years and had some unbelievable experiences with some amazing teammates. Thank you to all the coaches, staff and the fans, I will never forget the memories I have made at this club. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best as I leave ready to start the next chapter of my career. This club will always be my home and once again thank you.

“Once a red, always a red.”

Oyedele has been at the club since he was seven and therefore he is understandably emotional after the departure.

But several of his United teammates have sent him messages which show how close-knit the academy players are.

Most notable among the replies was Kobbie Mainoo, with the midfield superstar writing: “My brother, all the best”, as seen above.

Ethan Wheatley also commented, writing: “All the best brother”, followed by a heart emoji. Toby Collyer also added a message along a similar line as he commented: “All the best bro”.
