The talented English winger returned to Old Trafford after a spell at Borussia Dortmund on loan. Erik ten Hag and Sancho buried the hatchet and agreed to move on and it all looked promising for a few weeks but the 24-year-old was then left out of successive matchday squads
Ahead of the transfer deadline, the Red Devils are keen to move on the ex-Dortmund winger. As per Sky Sports journalist, Dharmesh Sheth, Chelsea are edging closer to an agreement with Manchester United over the signing of Jadon Sancho but are yet to determine whether it will be a loan or a permanent transfer.
The Blues need to offload players of their own and are offering Raheem Sterling to Man Utd in a swap deal. Sheth says United would like to take on the ex-Man City winger but are not actively trying to make it happen.
The £16.9m a year star is Chelsea’s highest-paid player and has fallen out of favor under Enzo Maresca. The Blues will not want to keep a player they don’t count on at such astronomical wages and will be keen to move him on now.
