But according to AD, Weghorst ended up getting into it with Arsenal star Jurrien Timber.
Weghorst, who had a brief loan spell at United in 2022, was furious with a late challenge from the defender in a small-sided game.
He felt it was a foul and proceeded to complain and protest about it, exchanging words with Timber while sat on the floor.
Manager Ronald Koeman got involved and explained, “I said something to you, I said something to them”.
As footage shared by ESPN shows, Weghorst continued to vent and tested Koeman’s patience, who is said to have shouted, “And now it’s over!”.
The 32-year-old took part in the final part of the session but is believed to have done so in an annoyed mood.
