Gary Neville tells Man Utd flops to snub Erik ten Hag in crisis meeting

Tottenham took full advantage of the numerical advantage as Dejan Kulusevski made it 2-0 shortly after the break before Dominic Solanke tapped home a third – with United players savaged by pundits for their lack of intent and hunger on a difficult day that heaps pressure on boss Erik ten Hag.

Neville was one of the most vocal critics of the team, calling their performance “disgusting” on commentary – but later re-assessed the situation and said it was vital that the team “get a grip of the dressing room”.

Gary Neville has urged Manchester United players to have a meeting without Erik ten Hag in the wake of their 3-0 thrashing at home to Tottenham on Sunday.

United were dominated from start to finish as they went behind in the opening three minutes through Brennan Johnson’s tap in before things went from bad to worse as Bruno Fernandes was shown red.
