Since Ten Hag have been sacked,I hereby announce my return by January, this is my home and can’t runaway from Home”, Former Man United player who had issues with Ten Hag before He left have officially announced His return by January

Rio Ferdinand has revealed what he thinks Cristiano Ronaldo will be doing following the news of Erik ten Hag’s sacking at Manchester United.

It was confirmed on Monday morning that Erik ten Hag had been sacked as manager of United following their latest Premier League defeat at the hands of West Ham.

United currently sit 14th in the table and released the following statement confirming the exit of Ten Hag: “Erik ten Hag has left his role as Manchester United men’s first-team manager

“Erik was appointed in April 2022 and led the club to two domestic trophies, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.

“We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well for the future.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of the team as interim head coach, supported by the current coaching team, whilst a permanent head coach is recruited.”

During the early stages of his Old Trafford career, Ten Hag had a particularly strained relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo, which eventually led to the termination of Ronaldo’s contract before the 2022 World Cup.

During the period of hostility between the pair, Ronaldo appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored where he tore apart Ten Hag for how he was treated.

“The coach didn’t have respect for me,” Ronaldo said.

“So this is why the relationship, it’s in that way. He keeps saying in the press that he comes to me, he likes me blah, blah, blah, but that is only for the press, 100 percent

“If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never going to have respect for you,” he added.

Well, it appears Ronaldo has had the last laugh, and Rio Ferdinand has revealed what he expects his former teammate to be doing in celebration.

“I think it makes sense now. Cristiano will be sitting there, having a little cup tea, going ‘Now you understand guys’. It’s inevitable if a manager gets the sack – he wasn’t good enough,” Ferdinand said on his latest YouTube video reacting to Ten Hag’s sacking.

“I think Cristiano Ronaldo was trying to tell us in a roundabout kind of way, he was quite direct at times, that he didn’t think this was the guy to things for United that we need.

Since leaving United, Ronaldo has racked his career tally up to over 900 goals, won the Saudi League Golden Boot, and appeared at two international tournaments with Portugal.
