Top 25 most supported clubs in world football revealed after huge survey and fans can’t believe the rankings

A survey to determine the most supported club in the world has been completed, and the results have shocked fans.

The Premier League is by far the most watched competitive football division in the world, with many considering it to be the highest level of any domestic competition.

However, there are clubs all across Europe whose fanbases can rival that of the Premier League sides, with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter/AC Milan, and Bayern Munich who could all make a case for being the world’s biggest and best.

Well thanks to Censuswide, we can now work out which club sits on top… Well, kind of.

In the summer of 2024, the organisation surveyed 8,220 fans from the: UK, USA, Brazil, Nigeria, Japan, Italy, Turkey, and South Korea.

Whilst the sample size isn’t the largest, the cream still rose to the top with Real Madrid and Barcelona occupying the top two spots with over 26% of the votes between them.

However, there were a few odd results with Tottenham and Manchester City sitting ahead of Liverpool who only received 5.06% of the vote.

Unsurprisingly, Man United were the highest ranked English side at third with 9.79% of the vote.
