Van Nistelrooy was appointed as United’s interim boss following the sacking of Erik ten Hag last month. Despite winning three and drawing one of his four games in charge of the Red Devils, the club have confirmed the former striker has left the Premier League side – along with fellow coaches Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Pieter Morel.
