Joshua kimmich free agent, Nkuku and Chilwel deal, Victor Gyokeres transfer”, Manchester United in and out by January as Ruben Amorim set to make five signing to strengthen His squad ahead of second phase of the season

According to reports in Spain, as cited by Football Fancast, Amorim is planning a mass clearout in January.

Amorim, who will officially start his new job upon leaving Sporting Lisbon on November 11, has identified four players who are out of his plans at Old Trafford.

Brazilian duo Casemiro and Antony have been transfer listed in a bid to make a clean break from Erik ten Hag, who signed the pair for a combined €170 million.

Veteran Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen is deemed too old by Amorim and will be available for a cut price in January.

The same is the case for defender Victor Lindelof, who is seen as last in Amorim’s pecking order in the backline.

Amorim at Man Utd
Amorim has agreed a contract until 2027 at Old Trafford, with United agreeing to pay the €10 million release clause in his Sporting Lisbon contract.

The 39-year-old Portuguese coach replaces Erik ten Hag, who was sacked by Man Utd on Monday.

Amorim is one of Europe’s most admired young coaches after performing wonders at Sporting Lisbon in recent years.

He won five trophies in Lisbon after arriving in 2020, including two league titles.

He has also developed a host of exciting talent; the latest being goal machine Viktor Gyokeres.

Amorim has stressed that he plans not to sign any of his Sporting players during January.

However, he does plan to do some business – both incoming and outgoing – in January.

United are languishing down in 13th position in the Premier League after a disastrous start to the season.

They have just 11 points from nine games and have failed to win any of their three Europa League matches.
