Robert Lewandowski has spoken out about rumours that Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is considering a move away from the club.
Zirkzee joined United from Bologna in the summer for a fee of £34 million, penning a five year contract, but so far has failed to make his mark at Old Trafford.
Earlier this week, rumours began to circulate that the Dutchman was unhappy with his current situation at United was could be set to leave the club in a surprise return to the Serie A
The Barcelona striker appeared on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast and spoke with the ex-Untied legend about his Bayern Munichteammate’s struggles at the Premier Leagueclub, urging fans to reserve their judgement and give him more time.
“He plays amazing with the back to the goal. He can hold the ball, he can play with the one touches or two touches and bring the wingers to behind his back,” Lewandowski said.
