Speaking to MUTV, Amorim said on the full back’s return:
“It was really huge for him, the confidence of everybody, I think he did very well.
“He was more than a year without playing and the way he behaved, so brave with the ball, I’m really happy with him.”
The words will be a great boost for the Dutchman, who struggled to make an impact in the game and was beaten for pace for Glimt’s first goal. He was subbed off at half time.
The coach also confirmed that there could be other players returning to the squad in tomorrow’s game against Everton.
“Maybe. We have to see. We have one more training. But maybe. If not in the starting XI then they will be on the bench.”
