“I really respect Ruben Amorim but he’s about to make the mistake I made by selling Palmer…I’ll personally advise him to keep that player for future”: Pep Guardiola advised Ruben Amorim against selling United’s youngster who has brighter future compared to Palmer

Chido Obi-Martin has celebrated more goals whilst Amir Ibragimov is attracting real attention.

Isak Hansen-Aaroen could be on the move again

United always hope to see top young talents emerge into the first team and become stars at Old Trafford.

More than 250 academy graduates have made United debuts at first-team level and there will hopefully be many more to come.

If those chances don’t arrive, United are happy to sell – and that has been seen in recent times.

The likes of Zidane Iqbal, Willy Kambwala and Maxi Oyedele have all been sold in the last 18 months with United cashing in.

The same goes for Isak Hansen-Aaroen, who was long tipped for stardom at Old Trafford.

The Norwegian decided to leave in January 2024 though with Werder Bremen signing Hansen-Aaroen on a permanent basis.

Hansen-Aaroen has yet to really make an impact though and now looks set to move on in January – albeit only on loan.

Bremen chief Peter Niemeyer has now told Bild that he thinks Hansen-Aaroen would benefit from a January loan move.

Niemeyer did though made it absolutely clear that there would be no permanent option included in any loan deal in the New Year.

“He is a very young player who would benefit from more match practice,” said Niemeyer.

Hansen-Aaroen has managed just three first-team appearances for Bremen and they all came in the second half of last season.

Three substitute appearances totalling 25 minutes is all Hansen-Aaroen has managed as a first-team player in Germany.

Bremen now feel that Hansen-Aaroen needs a loan move elsewhere and he has certainly struggled to justify the initial excitement around him.
