Forgotten Man Utd player linked with exit returns to training and fans are convinced Ruben Amorim will love him

A forgotten Manchester United player has returned to training this week and fans are convinced he will have a big part to play under Ruben Amorim.

United are in 13th place in the Premier Leaguetable and have won two of their last five matches in all competitions under their new manager.

Amorim has already used 20 players in opting for a rotational policy during his early weeks in charge, with players each given opportunities to improve.

He was handed his first team debut by Erik ten Hag last season and has made three appearances this term.

Collyer featured at left-back during United‘s 7-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup, proving his versatility.

The Sun claimed last week that Ruud van Nistelrooy is planning to make a loan offer for the midfielder, with the new Leicester boss having worked with Collyer closely during his time as assistant head coach at Old Trafford.
