Gary Neville made savage 12-word comment about Fraser Forster live on Sky and it may be his most brutal yet

Gary Neville made another brutal remark on Sky Sports commentary during Spurs’ thrilling 4-3 win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night.

Neville is known for not pulling any punches when describing the action and has not been afraid to call out players in his 13-year punditry career.

In addition to his iconic goal noises, the Manchester United legend has produced a number of memorable soundbites and quotes. He has, however, expressed regret over some of the off-the-cuff lines he has delivered, namely branding David Luiz a “playstation player” and calling Chelsea “billion pound bottlejobs” in the 2024 Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool.

But Neville still has it a cutting line in him and produced another about Fraser Forster on Thursday. With Spurs 3-0 up and cruising, the England goalkeeper gifted United a way back into the game with two mistakes in trying to play out from the back.

Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo punished the former Celtic shotstopper, who became incredibly shaky in the second half. He then made the bizarre choice to save a long-range strike from Diallo with his feet in a chaotic period
