What Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim did after Bruno Fernandes was sent off during his side’s 2-0 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers speaks volumes.
United suffered their eighth league defeat of the season at Molineux, with second half goals from Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan.
Cunha’s goal came directly from a corner – representing the second goal that United have conceded in such a manner in a week.
Despite United’s poor performance at Wolves, the result may have different had Fernandes not been shown a second yellow card for an ankle-high foul in the second half.
It is the third time the United captain has seen red this season, although his sending off against Tottenham was overturned on appeal.
