BREAKING NEWS: Bruno Fernandez has officially been stripped off the Captaincy by Ruben Amorim after what happened against Wolves yesterday, Amorim is not happy with the player and decided to take this bold decision to handover the Captaincy to ONE Man United player

Bruno Fernandes was sent off during Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat to Wolves on Thursday evening.

Ruben Amorim just suffered a fourth defeat in five Premier League games.

Unlike the 3-0 loss to Bournemouth against Wolves, Manchester United were completely undone and didn’t deserve anything from the game.

Andre Onana holds the blame for goal number one, with Matheus Cunha scoring directly from a corner – embarrassing for a goalkeeper of the Cameroonian’s supposed quality.

Hee-Chan Hwang scored the second late on with a clinical counterattack to hand Wolves a 2-0 win over United.

The game was in the balance, however, up until the 47th minute when Bruno Fernandes‘ night ended.

Ruben Amorim not happy with Bruno Fernandes
United fans were far from impressed with Bruno’s performance against Wolves on Thursday as the club captain got sent off early in the second half.

Bruno was one of United’s worst performers and his night ended after he arrived late and fouled Nelson Semedo in the 47th minute.

This was his second yellow card offence of the game and the referee felt he had no choice but to give him his marching orders and the No.8 left the pitch.

On his way off, Bruno walked right past his head coach Amorim, but the Portuguese connection was not strong as Amorim completely blanked his captain, as MEN journalist Steven Railston spotted

This is not a good sign, with Amorim not happy as Bruno picked up his third red card in 17 games – this is not the kind of leader the club should have and is a drastic change from the player who didn’t get sent off once previously for United.

Amorim’s reaction says it all about the point he is at with these players. The head coach is already fed up and we cannot blame him.

Amorim speaks out after Manchester United defeat
Bruno’s red will see him miss the Newcastle game on December 30th at Old Trafford, along with Manuel Ugarte who picked up his fifth yellow card.

After reacting on the sideline with clear frustration toward Bruno, Amorim was asked about the sending-off in his press conference.

“I’m always frustrated by a red card, but it can happen, because he [Bruno Fernandes] goes for the ball. He wanted the ball, the guy got there first and there was contact.”

Amorim then added that Bruno is also feeling the effects of his red.

“[It’s] tough on him also.”
