Man Utd could agree shock signing to replace £60m star – Report

Man Utd are in a rut under Ruben Amorim at the moment, unable to score goals and to win games. After the high of beating Manchester City in the Premier League in dramatic fashion, things have gone downhill ever since.

Amorim is trying to bring his tactical imprint to the team. However, understandably, the players are struggling to understand what exactly the Portuguese coach wants out of them.

The manager has also made some brave calls by dropping the likes of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from the matchday squad on occasions.

Rashford in particular, seems to have lost the confidence of his coach and even after making it to the matchday squad for the Newcastle United game, he was not given a single minute by his manager despite his side trailing 2-0.

Now, as per Football Insider, Man Utd could agree the shock signing of out-of-favor PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani to replace Marcus Rashford at the club. The Frenchman has lost the trust of Luis Enrique in the French capital.

Should Man Utd replace Rashford with Kolo Muani?

Rashford is valued at around £60m but identifying Kolo Muani as his potential replacement honestly comes as a shocking decision by Man Utd.

With all due respect to the French striker, he has hardly been the same since his last minute miss for France against Argentina in the World Cup 2022 final in Qatar.

Kolo Muani has hardly featured since his transfer to PSG, having started just 13 league games in his first season at Parc des Princes.
