More than half of the January transfer window is now gone and Manchester United are yet to make a move of any significance for the senior team.
That hasn’t stopped the dominos from falling around them, however, and two major ones might have fallen with just one big development.
The transfer market has always been a game where one big move follows another, as seen in AC Milan’s chase of Kyle Walker complicating the Marcus Rashford situation.
In the same vein, Fabrizio Romano might just have spelled the end of two transfer sagas at United with a single “Here we go” declaration.
Fabrizio Romano gives Randal Kolo Muani transfer update
Manchester United had been concretely linked with Randal Kolo Muani, the PSG forward who was guaranteed to leave the French capital in January.
A six-month loan for him, probably with a buy clause would have made perfect sense for United to add to their flailing attacking power.
It went as far as being reported that United will do ‘everything possible’ to sign Kolo Muani just recently. So much for that…
Fabrizio Romano has just given his famed “Here we go” to Kolo Muani’s loan move to Juventus for six months with no buy option, permanent or optional.
