Ayden Heaven took to Instagram on Sunday night after the in-form Manchester United defender suffered a serious injury during their Premier League clash against Leicester.
The 18-year-old, who impressed in games against Arsenal and Real Sociedad this month, was handed another start at the weekend as Ruben Amorim‘s side travelled to the King Power.
After a solid start to proceedings, Heaven was stretchered off in the 51st minute following a coming together with Leicester forward Patson Daka, which left the teenager in agony on the touchline.
In fact, Sky Sports decided against showing replays of the incident on their live broadcast, with Heaven eventually being helped off the pitch by medics before being replaced by Toby Collyer.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ruben Amorim provided an update on Heaven’s injury.
“Well, we have to evaluate during the week,” he said. “He’s a young kid, he doesn’t know how to explain what he’s feeling, so it’s hard for us to know something.”
