Report – Man United and club now prepared to agree £40million deal to seal transfer of player away from OT

Sancho spent the second half of last season out on loan at Borussia Dortmund where he showed more promise than the entire time he has spent at Old Trafford.

In the pre-season, there have been flashes of his brilliance but not enough to suggest he is ready for the new season with Man Utd.

Despite the quite obvious backing from Ten Hag, the exit rumors just don’t seem to die down. As per The Mirror, PSG are now ready to pay the asking fee to sign Sancho from Man Utd with the Red Devils looking for around £40m.

Despite Ten Hag mentioning just earlier this week that Sancho could be used as the number nine amidst all the injury issues in attack, his future at Old Trafford seems uncertain. PSG want a Kylian Mbappe replacement and the Englishman could be their answer.

Man Utd want to sign Manuel Ugarte from PSG, a player that the Ligue 1 giants are keen to sell. If the Red Devils decide to sell Sancho, the two clubs could come to some kind of arrangement that would bring the Uruguayan to Old Trafford.

That said, it is highly unlikely that Erik ten Hag sanctions an exit for Sancho, especially at a time when many of his attackers are suffering injuries. The 24-year-old looks set to stay at Old Trafford for the time being.

The upcoming season could be make or break for Sancho’s career in a Man Utd shirt. If he channelizes his Dortmund form, the position is still available for the taking. Let’s hope the Englishman can showcase his magic under Ten Hag.
