Man United have agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui, sources have told Football Insider.
Further talks are set to continue between United and Bundesliga giants on Monday over a transfer fee and the structure of payments
Mazraoui had been in talks to join West Ham earlier this summer but rejected their proposal.
The 26-year-old has said ‘yes’ in principle to the Old Trafford move, with a deal now edging closer to happening.
The Morocco international has played for the German outfit since 2022 and has made 55 appearances.
Mazraoui played 29 times for Bayern Munich last season in all competitions, providing four assists
Man United signing Noussair Mazraoui could lead to Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s departure
Erik ten Hag has been focusing on improving his defensive options this summer, with Leny Yoro having already joined the club.
Bringing in a right-back could lead to a departure as Aaron Wan-Bissaka might be deemed surplus to requirements.
Wan-Bissaka isn’t the only defender heading for the exit door though as Football Insider revealed the club will also listen to offers for Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
United are still in the market for another central defender this summer, with Matthijs de Ligt the current top target.
