David Beckham appears to have aimed a slight dig at the two players dropped by Manchester United for their derby win over Manchester City.
On Sunday afternoon, United travelled across town to take on rivals City at the Etihad Stadium.
Prior to kick-off, the main talking point was the decision to omit Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from the matchday squad, despite both reportedly being fit.
During what was a cagey first half, Pep Guardiola’s men took the lead through Josko Gvardiol in the 36th minute as United’s set-piece fragility reared its ugly head again.
However, the Red Devils had the last laugh as goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo in the 88th and 90th minute sealed a dramatic 2-1 win for Amorim’s side.
