BREAKING: Thierry Henry spots detail nobody else did when analysing Amad Diallo’s goal against Man City and it’s mind-blowing

Thierry Henry expertly spotted a detail nobody else did when analysing Amad Diallo’s goal against Manchester City on Monday Night Football.

Amad inspired Manchester United to a famous victory over their cross-town rivals on Sunday.

He won his side a penalty, which was converted by Bruno Fernandes, before producing a moment of magic to secure his team a big win.

The 22-year-old brilliantly rounded Ederson before poking home from an acute angle to score Man United’s winner in the 90th minute.

In dissecting Amad’s goal, Henry referenced how the youngster stopped looking at the ball as it came over his shoulder.

He explained how the star winger looked at where the ball was going to bounce, saying: “That’s the only way he can get it.”

Carragher also praised Amad, hailing his skill for the goal in glowing praise.

“This is one of the best pieces of skill you’ll probably see this season,” he added.

“The pressure moment, last minute of a derby. Absolutely sensational.”

Speaking after Man United’s win, Gary Neville applauded Amad’s showing against Man City as he singled out his performance for special praise.

“For Manchester United winning, it was just one man,” he said on The Gary Neville Podcast.

“There were a couple of other decent performers – I thought actually Maguire, Martinez and De Ligt did quite well as a back three, they were quite solid – but there was nothing else in front of them other than Amad Diallo.

“I called it in the first half and he was the player we featured before the game; he’s the only player who is playing with anything like the freedom and energy, enthusiasm, tenacity and belief that represents what you would expect in a Premier League footballer playing for the club.
