United cult hero agrees deal to join Ajax – only ‘a matter of time’ before transfer is completed

Former Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst is set to return to his home country, with Ajax pushing to secure his services.

Earlier this month, Weghorst made his Championship debut for Burnley, more than two years after moving to Turf Moor.

Interestingly, in between that period, the Dutchman played for Beşiktaş, United, and TSG Hoffenheim.
