Despite the world-class talent such as Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva starting the match, it was an Aston Villa player who was praised by fans on social media.
Morgan Rogers, 22, scored Villa’s second of the match and put in an excellent performance against the Premier League champions. He had earlier provided the assist for Jhon Duran’s opener.
