Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has revealed that he could be sacked just weeks after arriving at Old Trafford.
Amorim was appointed as the new United boss at the start of November, replacing former manager Erik ten Hag who held the position for over two years.
However, the Portuguese manager has struggled in his first two months in charge, losing five of his first 10 matches as United manager.
“The manager of Manchester United can never, no matter what, be comfortable.
“I know that if we don’t win, regardless, if they pay the buyout or not, I know that every manager is in danger. I like that because that is the job, so I understand the question.
“You can argue that I have been here one month and I’ve had four training (sessions), but we are not winning. That is the reality and I’m quite comfortable with that.”
The 39-year-old has repeatedly asked fans for patience and reiterated that it will take some time for United players to adjust to his style of play, but confessed that he did not expect to lost so many games early in his United career.
