BREAKING: EX Man United player finally rejoins the club after seeing His contract terminated with His current club

Ex-Manchester United star Alex Telles is clubless after seeing his Al-Nassr deal cancelled

The Brazilian full-back signed for the Saudi side last summer after three years on the books at Old Trafford. He played 40 games across his debut campaign, winning the Arab Club Champions CuP

And despite making two appearances at the start of the new campaign, Telles has moved on. The 31-year-old has left Al-Nassr by mutual consent, a year before the end of his £135k-a-week deal.

It sees him depart the Saudi league having previously been tempted to the Middle East by former United and Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. Explaining his reasoning in moving to Al-Nassr to the Portuguese media, Telles explained: “Cristiano Ronaldo was a very important reason for me coming here.

“We exchanged messages before, my agent was involved but obviously, when it comes to the legend Cristiano Ronaldo, the greatness he has, we already knew him from Manchester United and he made it easier for me to come.

“We talked a lot, he told me what the club was like and that he was looking forward to my coming. I’m happy to have an athlete and human being like him. So all the effort that I put in is also for him, for Al Nassr and for all the athletes who are here.”

Telles originally joined the Red Devils from Porto back in 2020. He made 50 appearances in all competitions under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick ahead of a loan spell with Spanish side Sevilla
