“I’ve never played against such dangerously aggressive player in my whole professional career, We drew but to be honest he was the Man of the Match… It’s unfortunate Erik Ten Hag doesn’t know how to use him”: Fc Porto superstar has named Man united new signing as the Best player he has ever faced in His career

Manchester United’s struggles continued on Thursday night in a 3-3 draw with Porto, after the game there was one clear man of the match.

Manchester United experienced a rollercoaster of a game on Thursday night in a 3-3 draw with Porto at the Estadio do Dragao. From 2-0 up in the first half, the draw will feel like a loss for United, but Harry Maguire’s header did salvage a point.

Erik ten Hag’s future is on the line this week, and this performance will not have helped his chances of surviving until after the international break.

In the game, Marcus Rashford bagged a goal and an assist, while Rasmus Hojlund was among the goals for the first time since July.

Rashford may have impressed, but there were some awful performances on show including Lisandro Martinez – but now fans have had their say on who the man of the match was.

Marcus Rashford named man of the match
After another disappointing European expedition, there was really only one contender for the man of the match vote, with Rashford coming out on top.

It was on the official United club website that the vote took place, with fans making it absolutely clear who the winner should be.

Marcus Rashford – 40 per cent
Andre Onana – 20 per cent
Maguire was voted third, although the club have not disclosed what percentage he received. We would imagine he scored a high percentage of the remaining votes with no other player shining.

However, for Rashford, it was brilliant to see him once again starring – with a first-half goal and assist seeing United take a 2-0 lead in the game.

On a bad night, it was encouraging to see Rashford once again in form as he has had a great few weeks.

How Rashford performed in the Europa League
Without Rashford on Thursday night, United could have been in for a catastrophic loss – considering Alejandro Garnacho had nowhere near the success of Rashford on the left.

Rashford completed three dribbles as he proved a thorn in the side of the Porto defence – they could not handle his pace and directness – with the goal being a perfect example.

In his last five games, Rashford has scored three and assisted two – however, the other three came against Barnsley.

If Ten Hag is to be kept on in his job beyond the next few weeks, it seems increasingly likely that he will benefit from Rashford’s form.

In this form, United’s No.10 is sensational and few defenders can handle him when he is playing like this.
