Klopp or Van Nistelrooy!! New Manchester United line up under new Manager as Board set to surprise Man United fans TODAY

This isn’t the first time Erik ten Hag is under immense pressure during his time as Manchester United manager but this might be the time he is finally replaced.

Until now, the Dutch coach has always managed to find a result to turn the situation around when it matters the most.

However, this season, with just three wins from 11 games across all competitions and a general lack of tactical blueprint, the writing might be on the wall for Erik ten Hag.

Should Manchester United decide to replace him, the international break provides them with the perfect opportunity.

Now, as per The Mirror, Man United have identified the perfect replacement for Ten Hag in the hot seat and it is ex-Bayern Munich and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel. The German head coach is ready to take the Old Trafford job.

Tuchel had a great time managing Chelsea, even leading the Blues to an unlikely Champions League title. In many ways, his sacking at Stamford Bridge was not merited and came as a surprise and is one of the many questionable decisions Todd Boehly has made at the club.

The Kaiser has a very respectable 63% win record in England. He managed exactly 100 games for the Blues during his stint at the Bridge, managing to win 63 times.

In comparison, Erik ten Hag has a 56.8% win record at Manchester United.

Should Man United decide to go down that road, Thomas Tuchel will be a good managerial option to succeed Ten Hag. He plays a good brand of football and has had the experience of managing top clubs to varying degrees of success.

As much as we might be wrong, it increasingly looks like a question of when rather than if Erik ten Hag will be let go. The next few weeks could give us a clearer picture and let’s wait and see how it pans out.
