Thomas Tuchel ‘wants to complete’ one Man United transfer and it’s bad news for two players

Thomas Tuchel has made a huge transfer demand to the Manchester United hierarchy if he replaces Erik ten Hag in the dug-out at Old Trafford.

United are considering appointing the German if Ten Hag is axed. The Dutchman has endured a tough start to the 2024/25 season with the club currently 14th in the Premier League, winning just two in seven.

A meeting with all the key figures at the club took place on Tuesday in London and whether Ten Hag will continue as head coach following the international break is likely to become clearer in the coming days.

The Manchester Evening News understands that Tuchel is one of the names under consideration. The 51-year-old is currently out of work after leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season and is arguably the most attractive coach on the market at the moment.

Tuchel, who won the Champions League with Chelsea after being appointed in mid-season, was linked with the role at United in the summer, also. Now, it’s been reported that he has made one key demand to the hierarchy if he is to come to the club.
