Man Utd sign £9.8million a year star exit – Report

Manchester United cleared significant deadwood from the squad back in the summer but there have been fringe players who have stuck around and looked to help out Erik ten Hag.

One such player is England international, Harry Maguire.

Once a club captain, it’s been a season since the Three Lions CB was stripped off his captaincy and relegated to a secondary role. This season, he has hardly featured due to the presence of Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez as the first-choice pair.

Despite not being a starter in most games, Maguire probably helped save Erik ten Hag’s job with his late equalizer against FC Porto in the Europa League. This shows that the player who looks miles better whenever he plays for England still has the ability to contribute to Man Utd.

Now, as per The Daily Star, Manchester United are ready to listen to offers of around just £10m to part ways with him in January.

That is a significant reduction on the £30m they would have asked for him just last season and a shocking one considering he was signed for £80m, underlining that he doesn’t have a future with the club.
