“Erik ten Hag is skilled at acquiring superior players, but the club owners will always try to undermine him.Tell me why they won’t win the Premier League the next season if he were able to sign such a player: Erik ten Hag, a former manager of Manchester City, is a greater quality recruiter than Pep Guardiola, and he has pushed Man United to buy the 21-year-old at all costs in order to win the Premier League the next season.

Stuart Pearce has reminded Manchester United about what Premier League star, Jarrad Branthwaite would bring to the team. The Red Devils have already had a £43m bid rejected for the Everton defender.

It is expected that United will approach the table with a different offer in hand. However, the entire thing could be called off if the Toffees don’t budge from their £80m evaluation of the 21-year-old defender.

Pearce has urged United to stay on the trail for Branthwaite and believes he will do better at the next level. Let’s have a look at what else Stuart had to say about the defender while speaking to Footy Accumulators. (h/t Manchester Evening News).

“Jarrad Branthwaite has had a brilliant season for Everton and it’s good for English football that we’ve got individuals like that coming through and doing extremely well,”

“It could be Manchester United but I’m sure there’ll be other takers out there because he certainly caught the eye this year. He ticks a lot of boxes.”

Pearce also mentioned that the more pressure he faces and experience he gains will ultimately benefit Branthwaite when he steps up to the next level. While that could be at Manchester United it could just easily be anywhere else in the world.
