“I’m sorry to say, but he can no longer work under me again at Man united”- Ten Hag breaks £63M forgotten Man united star’s heart and tells him to look for a new club by January- It’s the End

Manchester United were held to a frustrating 1-1 Europa League draw by Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce Here are our player ratings from the game.

(A score of 6 is around average)

Andre Onana 9 – His excellent double-save kept United in the game. Showed great reflexes on that occasion. His distribution was OK and he commanded his box well. Not much he could do about Fenerbahce’s goal.

Diogo Dalot 6 – Solid game and dealt with the tricky Allan Saint-Maximin well.

Matthijs de Ligt 6 – Did his job. Decent display.

Victor Lindelof 4 – Went quietly about his job in the opening 45 minutes but was largely at fault for Fenerbahce’s equaliser, as he allowed En-Nesyri a free jump at the ball. The Swede barely made an attempt to stop the Fenerbahce striker and that’s simply unacceptable.

Lisandro Martinez 5 – Left a bit too much space in some instances but settled more as the match progressed. Looked slightly better at centre-back.

Manuel Ugarte 7 – Much better from him after a difficult start to life at the club. Came up with a number of crucial tackles and interceptions in the middle of the park. Brilliant last-ditch challenge in the first half to deny Fenerbahce what seemed like a certain goal.

Christian Eriksen 8 – Took his goal well to put United in the lead. Some nice contributions on the ball.

Noussair Mazraoui 5 – Simply didn’t work in the 10. He got more into the game when put back in his favoured full-back position.

Marcus Rashford 6 – Didn’t provide as much threat apart from the one time he came close in the first half. To be fair to him, he didn’t get the ball nearly enough.

Alejandro Garnacho 6 – Tried to make things happen but wasn’t very effective.

Joshua Zirkzee 3 – Poor. Didn’t do much during the time he was on the pitch and it’s no surprise he was one of the first United players to come off. Didn’t hold up the ball nearly as well as he usually does and was also ineffective in linking up play. Wasted some good opportunities in the counter-attacks by either delaying the pass or over-hitting it.

Substitutes
Rasmus Hojlund 6 – Certainly offered more than Zirkzee. Nearly found the back of the net when he tried to find the bottom corner with his shot but was thwarted by Dominik Livaković.

Casemiro 6 – Tried to inject some impetus in the game by playing forward passes.

Antony 5 – Didn’t last long before he picked up an injury and had to be replaced.

Amad Diallo 5 – On the pitch for a very limited period. His continued snubbing remains puzzling.
