Thierry Henry has already told the world what Zinedine Zidane has been waiting for as Manchester United rumours resurface following Erik ten Hag’s sacking.
It was confirmed on Monday morning via a club statement that Ten Hag had been relieved of his duties as Manchester United manager with immediate effect.
United sit 14th in the Premier League table after earning just 11 points from their first nine games, only scoring eight goals in the process.
Ten Hag had guided United to their second consecutive worst-ever start to a season, however, club captain Bruno Fernandes insisted he was sad to see the Dutchman leave in a new statement.
Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of the team as interim head coach until a permanent boss is appointed, with Sporting’s Ruben Amorim the odds-on favourite for the job.
However, since the news one name has been on everyone’s lips, and that’s Zinedine Zidane.
