Man Utd tell transfer flop to leave Old Trafford after Erik ten Hag sacking

Manchester United are keen to move on transfer flop Antony in January following the sacking of Erik ten Hag, according to reports.

The Brazil international joined United on the recommendation of Ten Hag over two years ago in a £85million move from Ajax but has failed to live up to expectations.

Despite a bright start to his Old Trafford career, the 24-year-old scored just four goals in his first season and managed just one contribution last season in a campaign hampered with off-field issues relating to accusations of domestic violence.

This season, Antony scored his only goal in the 7-0 EFL Cup thrashing over Barnsley last week but has been afforded just two substitute appearances in the Premier League.
