Exclusive: 26-yr-old could now join Man United exodus

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one of several Manchester United players who are expected to leave the club this summer, according to Football Insider.

On the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior journalist Pete O’Rourke said that Wan-Bissaka, 26, will be the latest first-team player to be sold in a big clearout at Old Trafford.

The right-back has appeared in 25 games in all competitions this season, including United’s last 11 in a row as he established himself in Erik ten Hag’s team.

This comes shortly after Football Insider reported that Jonny Evans, Tom Heaton, and Anthony Martial had been informed that their contracts will not be renewed before they expire this summer.

Wan-Bissaka will join a list of probable departures that includes Christian Eriksen, with the club hoping to cash in on both talents, who have only one year left on their present contracts.

The right-back has struggled to establish himself as a regular first-team member since moving to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace for £50 million in 2019.

His tough-tackling approach and defensive skill are trademarks of his game, although there have been ongoing worries about his ball-handling ability during his stay with the club.

According to Football Insider, United will conduct a mass clearout during the transfer window in order to earn funds for reinvestment, as their current budget is low.

Other names mentioned in connection with a permanent exit from Old Trafford this summer have been Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho, as Football Insider revealed.
