Jadon Sancho sends message to Manchester United star after FA Cup Final win

Manchester United’s players have ended the 2023/24 season with a trophy after beating Manchester City at Wembley.

After an incredibly challenging season, the players at Wembley released their emotions in happy scenes of celebration both on the field and in the locker room.

With their victory against Newcastle in the 2023 Carabao Cup Final, Manchester United have won two trophies in as many seasons.

Winger Jadon Sancho was among the players involved on that particular day. He was placed on loan at Borussia Dortmund following a public spat with Erik ten Hag, and he is now remarkably on his way to the Champions League Final at Wembley this coming Sunday.

Sancho reacts to Manchester United win

After declining to apologise to Erik ten Hag, Jadon Sancho is perceived by Manchester United supporters as having abandoned the team.

Sancho is relishing a second new start at Dortmund, but he is still keeping an eye on United’s postseason triumph.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with whom he was photographed in New York earlier this year, is one of his close friends.

Wan-Bissaka posted on Instagram after Manchester United’s victory, with a simple word: “United!! ❤️🏆”.

The right-back received a number of responses from teammates past and present, including a ‘heart emoji’ from Sancho, paying tribute to the defender’s performance and achievement.

Wan-Bissaka delivers against City again

In addition to keeping Allan Saint-Maximin quiet, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has developed a reputation as a big game player and played a significant role in the Carabao Cup Final victory.

He was given the assignment of neutralise the cunning Jeremy Doku against City in the FA Cup Final, and he performed the task admirably.

Doku did score in the dying moments of the game—a shot that Andre Onana probably ought to have stopped—but it was too late to have any meaningful effect on the outcome as Manchester United won the match.
