Jadon Sancho to return to Man Utd? Winger splashes out on new multi-million house ‘around the corner’ from Erik ten Hag

Following a disagreement with manager Ten Hag, the England international has not appeared on the pitch for United since late August. After signing a loan to Borussia Dortmund in January, the former Manchester City academy standout was rumoured to never play for the Red Devils again while Ten Hag was manager. The 24-year-old, according to The Sun, has “splashed out” on a “stunning £3.8 million ($4.8 million) house” that is conveniently located a short distance from the Dutchman’s Hale, Manchester, property.

Ten Hag and Sancho have not back down from their argument, and it is unclear if the former will play for the Red Devils in the future. Since joining BVB again, he has improved his play, contributing two assists and three goals to help the team go to the Champions League final. Sancho’s future at Old Trafford may depend on what the United board decides to do with Ten Hag this summer.

Sancho performed poorly at Old Trafford, therefore United may want to sell him this summer in order to recover as much of the £73 million ($93 million) they paid Dortmund for him in 2021. The winger made 82 games for United, but only managed 12 goals and 6 assists.

Sancho’s loan stint at Dortmund is almost up after just two games. His contract at United expires in the summer of 2026. The first is on Saturday afternoon in the Bundesliga against Darmstadt, and the second is on June 1 at Wembley in the Champions League final versus Real Madrid.
