Liverpool star Jarell Quansah limits Instagram comments after costly Man Utd error

Liverpool defender Jarrell Quansah has limited comments on his Instagram account after his costly error against Manchester United.

The 21-year-old has been a breakout star for the Reds this term amid Jurgen Klopp’s injury issues. Quansah has made 27 appearances for Liverpool’s first team this term and was selected to start against the Red Devils.

It was the young defender’s misplaced pass that allowed Bruno Fernandes to hit a first-time strike past Caoimhin Kelleher to level the scores at Old Trafford. The Man United skipper quickly latched onto the errant ball to score from 50 yards in stunning fashion.

Despite the Portugal international still needing a sublime finish, Quansah quickly felt the responsibility at the moment, with the Reds academy product putting his hands on his head as the ball went into the net.

It now appears that the central defender updated his security settings, to limit the accounts who could comment on his posts. At the bottom of all his Instagram posts, a small message at the footer appears. It reads: “Comments on this post have been limited”.

Quansah has amassed a following of 508,000 fans on Instagram. In return he follows 427 accounts including Liverpool colleagues and England under-21 teammates.

Klopp looked to alleviate the pressure on his charge following Liverpool’s draw. The German coach was pleased with how Quansah handled the situation.
