Man Utd prepared to agree £6.2million a year deal for signing – Report

Two years ago, Matheus Cunha was connected to Manchester United, and now the Brazilian star is the main attraction.

In an attempt to bolster their offensive line, the Red Devils are willing to pay a high salary to recruit the Samba forward from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Mirror exclusively revealed that Man Utd is interested in signing Cunha, who is said to be worth £60 million.

Currently making about £60,000 a week, the Old Trafford team is willing to increase the South American striker’s pay.

In order to get Cunha from Wolves, Man Utd is willing to commit to a contract worth £6.2 million annually, or £120,000 a week.

The record English champions are reportedly trying to entice Kudus away from West Ham. The Ghanaian international is being watched by Liverpool and has worked for Ten Hag at Ajax.

Cunha had a successful season in the Premier League the previous year. He made 29 starts and had a direct hand in 19 goals.

He made 36 games overall for the Molineux team across all competitions, contributing 8 assists and 14 goals.

Despite making 11 appearances for the senior Brazilian team thus far, the former Atletico Madrid forward has not been included in the roster for the forthcoming Copa America.

Apart from the No.9 role, he has also proved to be effective in the secondary striker and central attacking midfield roles.

Man Utd lack quality and depth in their striking department. Should they agree a deal worth £6.2million a year to sign Matheus Cunha?
