Man Utd ready to agree fee demanded for potential Fernandes replacement – Report

Man Utd is reportedly serious about signing Teun Koopmeiners during the summer transfer season, according to several sources in the Italian media.

Calcio Mercato reported yesterday that the Red Devils are prepared to pay the Dutch international’s transfer fee right away, estimated to be between 60 and 70 million euros (£59.5 million).

The Old Trafford team is prepared to make a sizable bid to sign the 26-year-old offensive midfielder, according to Tutto Atalanta.

Man Utd appears prepared to pay the aforementioned sum in order to sign Koopmeiners from Atlanta, according to TA.

Last but not least, Man Utd broke the bank for Hojlund, and La Dea knows the Red Devils can spend a lot of money to sign Teun from the club, according to a story that was published by CorSera today (via Paisley Gates).

According to a credible media source, Atalanta is reportedly demanding between 60 and 70 million euros (£59.5 million) for the Europa League winner.

Liverpool, who can also match Man Utd’s asking price, will be a formidable rival; but, Juventus will benefit from the player’s desire to remain in Serie A.

Koopmeiners played as Atalanta’s No. 10 last season, contributing 7 assists and 15 goals in all competitions.

Bruno Fernandes, the team’s captain and possibly best player, fills the CAM role at Old Trafford. But according to The Guardian, Ratcliffe’s future is uncertain, and if the Portuguese player were to depart this summer, he would consider accepting genuine offers of at least £70 million.

In your opinion, should Man Utd sign Koopmeiners to replace Fernandes?
