Man Utd star Mason Greenwood drops huge clue where he’ll be playing next season

Mason Greenwood may have given away a lot about his future by renting out his opulent Manchester home. After picking up his career at Getafe this season, the Manchester United loanee is anticipated to finalise a permanent departure from the team this summer.

The last time Greenwood appeared on the pitch for the Red Devils was in January 2022. At that time, he was accused with assault, coercive and controlling behaviour, and attempted rape. Greenwood has denied all of the charges.

The Crown Prosecution Service threw out the case in February 2023, citing the “withdrawal of key witnesses” and “new material that came to light that meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.”

After conducting an internal inquiry into his detention, United determined that it would be in everyone’s best interests to assist Greenwood in pursuing his career outside of Old Trafford.

In 35 games for the La Liga team, the 22-year-old scored 10 goals and provided six assists after agreeing to a loan move to Getafe last summer.

Some United supporters have urged the team to give him another chance, and it has been stated that his performances have drawn serious interest from heavyweights in Spain, England, and other countries.

But Greenwood appears to be getting ready for life beyond Manchester based on his recent actions in the real estate market.

The Sun claims that Greenwood has listed his £2 million estate for rent, suggesting he has no intention of returning after his Getafe stint is up.

The six-bedroom home of the former United No. 11 is for sale for £14,000 a month, which is a clear indication that he plans to leave permanently soon.

According to reports, Greenwood stayed in the property both during his dramatic breakthrough at Old Trafford and his exile while he was being investigated by the police and the club after his arrest.

According to the story, Greenwood is worried about upsetting his partner Harriet Robson and their infant daughter Summer by moving back to Manchester.

Several Premier League clubs are rumoured to have asked to be updated on the young forward’s status.

Several foreign teams are apparently interested in making a summer transfer raid, including Getafe, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Napoli.

According to reports, United has placed a price tag between £40 million and £50 million on their academy graduate in an attempt to collect money for Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s summertime upheaval.

A Red Devils stay hasn’t been ruled out if their asking price isn’t met, with Ratcliffe insisting they will make a fresh decision.

But all signs point towards a permanent departure in the coming months as he continues his life away from Manchester.
