Manchester United wonderkid striker says he has scored 40 goals for academy this season

Manchester United have a long record of promoting youth talent and the club is going to be spoiled for choice in the years ahead.

Manchester United needs to add players to the striker position in the near future. Long-term, the club has a good supply of young players.

As the 250th academy graduate to do so, Ethan Wheatley has already made his breakthrough and first-team debut.

Victor Musa could have a successful season next year thanks to Gabriele Biancheri’s training with the first team, while Amir Ibragimov, who is only 16 years old and has already played for the under-21s, is widely anticipated.

Look out for Louie Bradbury

Wales youth international Louie Bradbury is one player who is contributing to Manchester United’s academy teams.

Bradbury recently finished his first full season as a member of Manchester United’s under-16 team. It’s gone rather smoothly. Bradbury announced on Instagram that he had scored 40 goals in 2023–2024 across all competitions.

In September, Bradbury will turn 16 and is anticipated to step up and challenge himself by playing for the under-18s in the next season.

Who is Louie Bradbury

Early in 2023, Manchester United acquired Louie Bradbury from the academy of Shrewsbury Town, not long after agreeing to sign Gabriele Biancheri from Cardiff.

Since making his debut late last year, Bradbury, a Wales under-16s international, has scored three goals. He has always been a successful player at whichever level he has participated in.

The Border Counties Advertiser quoted his father Josh Bradbury in 2022, saying, “Louie is a goalscorer and a scorer of good goals really – he scored 126 goals last season which is his best return.”

In Manchester United colours, he is undoubtedly still showing off his goal-scoring ability. If he can establish himself for the under-18s this next season, we may hear a lot more about him.
